Fully searchable directory of Therapies and Providers relating to integrative approaches to cancer.

Yes to Life Health Programmes
Robin has interviewed many of the UK practitioners and so if you are looking to find out if someone is suitable to you and your needs – listening to a radio programme with the practitioners may well help narrow your search.

Cancer Care Map is an online directory that helps people find cancer care and support services in their local area. People with cancer, their friends and family can either search for a service or can browse the types of services available. It uses stories and videos to show how the services have benefited other people living with cancer and sign-posts services across the country whether they are charity funded, community based or NHS led.

CAM Cancer
CAM Cancer provides health professionals with high-quality, evidence-based information about complementary and alternative medicine (CAM) for cancer.

Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center’s About Herbs database
A tool for the public as well as healthcare professionals, can help you figure out the value of using common herbs and other dietary supplements.  A pharmacist and botanicals expert manages and continually updates the database with assistance from other MSK Integrative Medicine Service experts with objective and evidence-based information that can be helpful in judging a product’s: traditional and proven uses, potential benefits, possible adverse effects, interactions with other herbs or medicines.

National Center for Complementary and Alternative ​Medicine at the National Institutes of Health
They conduct and support research and provide information about complementary health products and practices.

PDQ Cancer Information Summaries
The PDQ cancer information summaries are peer-reviewed, evidence-based summaries on topics including adult and pediatric cancer treatment, supportive and palliative care, screening, prevention, genetics, and complementary and alternative medicine. Society for Integrative Oncology
The mission of the Society for Integrative Oncology is to advance evidence-based, comprehensive, integrative healthcare to improve the lives of people affected by cancer.

British Society for Integrative Oncology
The British Society for Integrative Oncology (BSIO) is the leading professional organisation for integrative oncology in the UK. Their goal is to promote the integration of orthodox and complementary medicine to improve the lives of people affected by cancer.

College of Medicine – One Year Free Membership for Your Life and Cancer 2020 Delegates
The college is a membership organisation that advocates for a new attitude to healthcare: one which forges partnerships across society, emphasises prevention and a multi-faceted approach and empowers a healthier, happier population.   It is open to both medical professionals and members of the public who are interested in embracing an integrative approach to healthcare.  The College of Medicine is offering one year’s free membership to all of the delegates to Your Life and Cancer 2020?  In order to take up this offer, you can ask them to visit the College’s membership sign-up page.  To join click on Students(free membership) and fill in their details.  When the system asks for your University and Course, please input College of Medicine and Your Life and Cancer respectively.  This will allow you access to College offers and events for twelve months (it will revert to the basic price of £10/year after that date, but no automatic payment will be set up).

Gloucestershire (UK) Cancer Exercise
Gloucestershire Cancer Exercise is for those living with, and beyond cancer. Being physically active has many benefits. There is strong evidence that for lung, brain, breast, prostate and colorectal cancer exercise can:Decrease cancer recurrence;  Improve survival rates.  One Gloucestershire (NHS & County Council), Local Authorities, Macmillian Next Steps, Aspire, Heidi’s Heroes and Maggies have teamed up to provide exercise sessions for people affected by cancer – before, during and after treatment.
